Brian Luscher took the Turano Bread Challenge. Will you? #TuranoHack

Are you a sandwich wizard? Like to get creative between the slices and have an Iphone to capture a 30-60 second video? Take the Turano Bread challenge and you could win $500 in the #TuranoHack contest. To give a quick backstory, Turano Baking Company is a Chicago-based artisanal bread company in it’s 53rd year of baking.  They have an extensive line of breads and rolls delivered fresh around Chi-town. For those of us outside of the windy city, Turano’s breads can be found at Aldi’s.  I’ve never seen Turano breads before but I definitely took note when I saw Chicago-native and beloved Dallas Chef Brian Luscher of The Grape and Post Oak Red Hots and Chef Uno of Chino Chinatown at Trinity Groves take up the #TuranoHack challenge. Check out their creative ideas their Weeknight Dinner Hack and Uno Cubano using Pane Turano bread.

So if you’re handy in the kitchen, get to it. Entries are judged on originality, creativity, cost of ingredients (the less the better) and good ol’ fashioned enthusiasm! Entries must be in by March 31st, 2015 10pm CST. Turano Baking Company will announce the winner. All submission details are found here.

Till our next Happy Meal!
