America you have chosen! I won’t comment on political views but I’m so relieved the election is finally over. I’m done with choosing one over another and am happy instead to announce that Chooze is back with a pop up store for holiday shopping! For those who don’t know, you don’t have to choose sides with Chooze shoes. The right shoe is harmoniously different from the left shoe but both are united in step and design. I wish that kind of unity for our country too as we move forward.

Owned by Sharon Blumberg, a local Dallas mom, the inspiration of Chooze shoes came from her creative daughter who would wear two different shoes. Since 2011, Chooze has expanded into apparel, back packs and even Women’s shoes. They are sturdy and made for play, with an antibacterial and anti-stink insole, and non-marking soles.

We featured Chooze Shoes when it first caught the eye of Brangelina’s child, Shiloh. My firstborn, Pikelet loved them and were asked often where he got his shoes from. Though the collection is girl-centric, the sneakers and loafers are gender neutral.

And lastly, Chooze is a Good Returns Company meaning that they invest annual profits into anti-poverty programs. The money is used to provide training, education, support and loans to women to lift themselves out of extreme poverty. What an inspiring story with a worthy mission! What will you Chooze?
