Say it isn’t so? I’ve been hearing the ‘S’ word a lot. Not ‘summer’ but ‘school’. School is just round the corner and Macy’s is rolling out a bunch of events to help your child be cool for school. Join Itty Bitty Foodies at the Macy’s Get Back To School in Style event at Macy’s Park in Arlington  on Sunday August 30th at 2pm. To top it off, pop sensation, 15 year old singer/songwriter Daniel Skye will be performing and doing a ‘meet and greet’ at specific Macy’s locations. Plus, with any $35 or more Kids purchase, get a Daniel Skye keepsake!

Here are some of our favorite outfits for school and weekend for your dapper little man or fashionista.

And don’t forget a good winter coat is essential for the coming months.

The Macy’s character shop has seriously cute outfit for princesses (Sofia the First, Frozen, Disney princesses) and superheroes (Marvel Avengers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman, Superman, Starwars etc).

Catch a live performance by Daniel Skye on August 30th at 2pm before he shoots to world stardom! Doesn’t he look like a Baby Bieber? During the event, there will be refreshments courtesy of Drazil Tea, Little Me Tea, and snacks of courtesy of Deep River Snacks and Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps. For a list on this and other events at your local Macy’s, log onto macys.com/btsevents.
Shopping Tip:
Here’s a Mom (or Dad) tip on how to stretch your dollar a little further. Before spending $ at Macy’s check Groupon Coupons. These work a little differently from the regular Groupons as you don’t need to spend anything upfront and you don’t need to be a Groupon member. Groupon Coupons are special deals/coupon codes you can get to spend at over 9000 stores. So next time you do a bit of shopping, check Groupon Coupons. This shopping tip was sponsored by our friends at Groupon.
You’ve just been StyleSurfing with Itty Bitty Foodies!

  1. So cute!I love back to school shopping. I really do. It was a special time for me as a kid and I love doing it with my kiddos. Macy’s is a great store and I am impressed at the prices.

  2. I love your outfit picks and my daughter even commented on how “cute” Disney Princess dress is (she’s 4). I look forward to attending the Macy’s BTS event near me. I think it’s actually next week!
