One of the best presents Beefcake and I got each other was the gift of relaxation. Just after the birth of Lollo, we signed up for a H Circle membership at Hiatus Spa on Lovers Lane. That was six years ago. At the risk of sharing our little secret and making the spa more popular than it already is, here’s a shout out to Hiatus Spa who have given us a monthly retreat from the world. It’s a great gift for tired parents who want to re-energize. It’s a little like a power stress fix.

We kicked off our first massage together in the couples room. Massages are our favorite but every quarterly, I’ll treat myself to a facial or their award winning mani-pedis. At the beginning of each service, the therapist takes us on  on a sensory journey where they will let you smell essential oils that energize or relax. Mine is always different and I let my body dictate what I need. Hiatus Spa uses Aveda products that are all made from nature derived ingredients.

The past six years, we’ve loved seeing Hiatus Spa grow from increasing their therapy room space to include a mani-pedi area to visiting their Austin location which is a real treat! Thank you for giving Beefcake and I a much needed respite, we love you! You can sign up on a monthly basis ($69) or 12 month ($59 a month). The H Circle membership gets you a monthly Essential Service (massage, facial, mani-pedi or body wrap), priority booking and discounted rates on additional services during the month.
