Style Surfing: Clarisonic for beautiful skin

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful Mum and all the other mothers out there! Youthful skin is, I believe, part hereditary and part maintenance. I’m blessed to have inherited my skin from my mother.

I'm happiest when I'm near water

But as I get older, I feel maintenance starts to get more important. I eat better, drink more water and start to research into beauty gadgets. The last couple of years, Beefcake has gifted me Clarisonic products. How many Clarisonic products can one have? Well not enough apparently. Two years ago, I received a Clarisonic Mia for Mother’s Day and it’s been one of those things that I can honestly say I’ve used every week since.

Like the Sonic Care toothbrushes our whole family uses, the Clarisonic Mia is a cleansing brush system that uses sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second to deeply cleanse the skin. I use it two to three times a week to give it a fresh boost and recharge. Since then they’ve come upped the ante with Smart Profile that enables the device to switch speeds from gentle to deep cleansing needs. Think of it as a power wash for your face. It cleans 11x better than washing with your hands alone.

Last year, I had a wonderful pedi at Hiatus Spa where they used the Clarisonic Pedi Sonic Foot Transformation on my feet. The Clarisonic Pedi runs at ‘foot frequency’ and gently sloughs away old skin and callouses till your soles are silky smooth. Thanks to my Beefcake, my feet have not felt so good in years.

Now I’m eyeing, their latest product, the Clarisonic Opal Sonic Infuser which is specially designed to help build skin’s resilience over time. By gently tapping a soft silicone tip to the skin around your eye at 200+ sonic movements per second, the Opal Sonic Infuser helps reduce under-eye puffiness and dark circles while maximizing the absorption of eye serums and wrinkle-reducing creams in a way that’s not possible with your finger alone. (Hint Hint, Beefcake!)

I’ve really love using Clarisonic for beautiful skin. They are so rave-worthy. They’re effective and practical and keeps us active moms, looking great.

Find the Clarisonic range at stores like: Sephora, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom or if you prefer online shopping, use Ebates where you receive a cash rebate for purchases online. (shhh… I’ve received close to $1000 cash back from buying every day things to shopping for appliances)

Thank you for StyleSurfing with me!

Style Surfing: Before I had my Itty Bitty Foodies, I had Style Surfers a website about all things fashionable and fabulous. This was in another galaxy far far away when I was the single girl about town. Fashion was my first love and this new Style Surfing segment is an ode to that. Enjoy.
