Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza in Frisco is teaming up with new craft breweries to the Dallas / Fort Worth market for a beer tap takeover to raise funds for Operation Kindness. This Saturday October 17th, kick back with artisanal, made-to-order pizzas and taste some new local craft beers from Noble Rey, Back Country Brewery, Texas Ale Project and Guns & Oil Brewing Co. During the event, 20 percent of food and beverage proceeds will be donated to Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas.
The event also features live music from Dallas’ Lone Star Bottle Band. It’s a small event where families can enjoy some pizza, good music and learn about how to save a homeless pet in need. “We have a great relationship with our local breweries, and when talking with them, we wanted to team up to help make a difference in our community,” said Greg Hazard, Director of Operations for Blaze. “Beer and pizza is an American favorite. We’re excited to debut new breweries to the Frisco community, while celebrating for such a great cause as Operation Kindness.”
For those who haven’t visited, Blaze Pizza, it is a great family friendly fast casual concept in Frisco. We love it because you can pick all your fresh ingredients and the chefs will make it for you.
180 seconds later in the wood fired oven, your pizza is ready. The food is fresh and fast. Blaze carefully sources its ingredients – with almost all of its food free of artificial colors, flavors, preservatives and fillers. There’s also gluten-free dough and vegan cheese for those who have dietary needs.
Be sure to save room for those S’more’s desserts. For a bit of basketball trivia, the venture is also backed by basketball champ, LeBron James.

A little about Operation Kindness:
Operation Kindness is the original and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas. Its mission is to care for homeless cats and dogs in a no-kill environment until each is adopted into responsible homes and to advocate humane values and behavior. Operation Kindness has saved nearly 80,000 animals since its inception. The shelter assists nearly 4,500 dogs and cats each year, caring for an average of 300 animals daily with another 100-150 animals in foster homes. Join Operation Kindness in their mission to care for homeless animals by becoming a member of the Happy Tails Society. This group of dedicated friends provides a monthly gift to help pay for medical care, medicine, food, shelter, nurturing and behavior training the pets need to have a second chance at life.
